What Walmart Fulfillment Services really charges per unit: the fulfillment fee chart by weight, the surcharges most resellers miss, monthly storage, and a real example.

Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) charges two main fees: a fulfillment fee per unit sold, set by shipping weight, and a monthly storage fee per cubic foot. There's no signup or monthly subscription fee. Your Walmart referral fee is charged on top of these on every sale.
WFS doesn't use the weight on the box. It uses a shipping weight, worked out like this:
So a 1.2 lb item in an 8 × 6 × 4 inch box has a dimensional weight of 192 ÷ 139 = 1.38 lb. That's more than 1.2 lb, so Walmart uses 1.38 lb, adds 0.25 lb (1.63 lb) and rounds up to a 2 lb shipping weight. The 0.25 lb matters: a 1.8 lb item becomes 2.05 lb and bills at 3 lb.
These are Walmart's standard fulfillment fees per unit, effective since April 2025:

Standard items are up to 150 lb, with the longest side up to 108 inches and longest side + girth up to 165 inches. Anything bigger ships as big & bulky by freight: $155 + $0.80 per lb over 90 lb, up to 500 lb.

The under-$10 surcharge is the one resellers miss most. A $9.97 item pays $1 more per sale than a $10.00 item, so cheap items need a bigger spread to work.
Storage is charged per cubic foot per month. Cubic feet = length × width × height (inches) ÷ 1,728.

Our 8 × 6 × 4 inch example is 0.11 cubic feet, so storage is about $0.08 a month most of the year. Storage only really hurts on big, slow items and on stock sitting through October–December.
A toy sells for $24.97. It weighs 1.2 lb in an 8 × 6 × 4 inch box and sits in WFS for one month in the spring.

WFS fulfillment fees start at $3.45 per unit for items with a shipping weight of 1 lb or less, $4.95 for 2 lb and $5.45 for 3 lb. From 4 to 20 lb it's $5.75 plus $0.40 for each pound over 4. Surcharges apply for items under $10, apparel, hazmat and oversize items.
Walmart starts with the unit weight, or for items from 1 to 150 lb the greater of the unit weight or the dimensional weight (length x width x height in inches divided by 139). It then adds 0.25 lb for packaging and rounds up to the next pound.
WFS storage is $0.75 per cubic foot per month from January to September. From October to December, items stored more than 30 days pay an extra $1.50 per cubic foot. From June 30, 2026, items stored 366 to 450 days pay $2.25 and items over 450 days pay $7.50 per cubic foot per month.
