Margenos is a Walmart reseller tool (Chrome extension and Android app) that shows whether a product is worth selling on Walmart Marketplace: fees, profit, ROI, sales estimates, every competing seller with stock, the Buy Box winner and the product's price and Buy Box history. It is made by Lemont Holdings LLC, a Texas company, and is not affiliated with Walmart.

Margenos is pronounced MAR-jin-ohs. This page explains what Margenos is, who it's for, what it shows, where it runs, and how it differs from other seller tools, so you can decide quickly if it fits how you source.

What is Margenos, in one paragraph?

Margenos is product research software for people who sell on Walmart Marketplace. You open a Walmart.com product page in Chrome, or scan a barcode with the Android app, and Margenos shows the numbers you need before you buy inventory: what Walmart's fees will take, what you'd keep, how fast the item seems to sell, who you'd be competing with, how much stock they hold, who wins the Buy Box, and how the price has moved. It shows raw numbers. It doesn't stamp a product "safe" or "risky"; that call stays with you.

Who Margenos is for

Margenos is built for Walmart Marketplace resellers, whatever way they find inventory:

It isn't a shopping coupon app, and it isn't an accounting tool. If you mainly want bookkeeping after the sale, or you sell mostly on Amazon, other tools may suit you better; our Walmart seller tools roundup covers them fairly.

Where Margenos runs

How Margenos is different

It works without a Walmart seller account

You don't need to connect a Walmart seller account to use Margenos. That means you can research products before you apply, while your application is being reviewed, or for a category you haven't sold in yet.

Phone barcode scanning

Many Walmart tools are browser-only. The Margenos Android app scans a product's barcode in the store and shows the same fees, sellers, stock and history you'd see on a computer.

History from its own daily snapshots

Walmart.com has no public sales rank and no public price history. Margenos builds its price and Buy Box history charts from its own daily snapshots of each product, so you can see whether today's price is normal. History starts when Margenos began recording that item. See how to see a Walmart product's history.

Sales estimates that say where they came from

Because Walmart doesn't publish sales numbers, every sales figure on Walmart is an estimate. Margenos labels each estimate with its source, shows a floor like "430+" when it's less certain, and shows "not enough data" when it can't support a number rather than guessing.
