The best Walmart seller tools in 2026 depend on the job you need done. For resellers who want to check whether a product is worth buying for Walmart Marketplace, start with Margenos. WAMP is a free option for online research, Helium 10 suits brands doing listing and ad work, sellerboard handles profit accounting, and Walmart's own free Repricer and Seller Center reports cover pricing and account health. Margenos is a Walmart reseller tool (Chrome extension and Android app) that shows whether a product is worth selling on Walmart Marketplace: fees, profit, ROI, sales estimates, every competing seller with stock, the Buy Box winner and the product's price and Buy Box history.

Margenos makes this page, so weigh that — we've tried to be fair and link every competitor. We checked each tool's own website on November 1, 2026. Prices and features change, so confirm on their sites before you subscribe.

Walmart reseller tools for product research and sourcing

Research happens before you spend anything, so it matters most. Know this first: Walmart.com has no public sales rank and no public price history. Tools that show Walmart sales or history build it from their own data, so ask where the numbers come from.

1. Margenos: best for resellers checking whether a product will sell

Margenos is made only for Walmart Marketplace. Open any Walmart.com product with the Chrome extension, or scan a barcode in a store with the Android app, and you see referral and WFS fees, profit, ROI, the most you can pay and your breakeven, with quantity, prep cost and WFS storage months built in. You also get a sales estimate labeled with its source (or "not enough data"), every competing seller with stock counts, total stock across sellers, WFS vs seller-fulfilled per offer, and who wins the Buy Box.

Price and Buy Box history charts come from Margenos's own daily snapshots. Tracked products send push alerts when prices move, sellers sell out, or sellers or Walmart join or leave. Margenos shows raw numbers rather than "safe" or "risky" labels, so you make the call. You don't need a Walmart seller account. Our guide to checking if a product will sell on Walmart walks through how to read the numbers.

Where it's weaker: it only covers Walmart, it doesn't do keyword research, ads or bookkeeping, and the iPhone app isn't out yet.

2. WAMP (SellerAmp)

WAMP is SellerAmp's Walmart sourcing extension, aimed at retail arbitrage, online arbitrage and wholesale. Its site lists a profit calculator with Walmart fees, price and Buy Box history charts, Buy Box analysis, a badges panel, competing offers with stock, storefront search and Google Sheets export. It can launch SellerAmp SAS to compare the Amazon listing side by side. The beta plan is listed at $0 a month, and its site tells people who aren't selling yet to become a Walmart seller first. We didn't find barcode scanning or push alerts listed. See our full Margenos vs WAMP comparison.

3. Helium 10 (Walmart features)

Helium 10 is an all-in-one suite built first for Amazon. On Walmart, its help center says the Chrome extension's Xray works on Walmart search results (estimated revenue and average prices, with Supplier Finder showing Alibaba matches), Demand Analyzer adds Amazon search volume, and a Listing Quality Score widget appears on product pages. It also connects to a Walmart seller account for its Profits tool and offers Helium 10 Ads for Walmart Connect. It's strongest for brands selling on both Amazon and Walmart. Details: Margenos vs Helium 10.

4. Jungle Scout (Walmart support)

Jungle Scout is a well-known Amazon research tool. On Walmart, its own help center answers plainly: its system "only supports Amazon marketplaces," and it doesn't support Walmart. Great for Amazon; not for Walmart. More in Margenos vs Jungle Scout.

5. Zik Analytics

Zik Analytics is product research for eBay and Shopify sellers. Walmart appears as a supplier: its "Walmart to eBay" tool matches Walmart listings to eBay demand for dropshippers. It isn't built for selling on Walmart Marketplace.

6. Nepeto

Nepeto is automated Amazon sourcing software. Its cheapest plan finds products at retail suppliers such as Walmart and Target to resell on Amazon, and its Pro plan adds an "Amazon to Walmart" tool labeled for Walmart sellers. Check their site for exactly what that tool shows.

Repricers: Walmart marketplace tools for pricing

A repricer changes your price automatically to stay competitive for the Buy Box. Walmart's own Repricer is free and lives in Seller Center. Walmart says you can base a strategy on the Buy Box price, competing retailer prices, or the lower of the two, and eligible sellers can use an AI-powered strategy. It changes the item price only, not shipping, and updates can take up to four hours.

Third-party repricers add more control. Aura says it's built for Walmart natively and offers a 14-day free trial. Seller Snap reprices on Walmart with a 15-day trial, though its help article notes custom strategies aren't available for Walmart. Check both sites for current pricing.

Accounting and profit tracking

Research tools estimate profit before you buy. Accounting tools tell you what you actually made. sellerboard's Walmart dashboard tracks sales, refunds, ad costs, Walmart fees, cost of goods and net profit, and plans inventory across WFS and seller-fulfilled stock. Helium 10's Profits also pulls Walmart financial data once you connect your seller account. To do the math by hand, read how to calculate Walmart profit.

Walmart's own Seller Center tools

Every seller gets free tools inside Seller Center: the Repricer, the Listing Quality dashboard (which compares your price with the competitive price), a Buy Box Report under Analytics that shows which items competed for the Buy Box and whether you won, and Success Hub recommendations on pricing, inventory and assortment. The Walmart Seller app covers orders on the go. These need an approved seller account and only cover your own items.

How to choose the best tools for Walmart sellers

  1. Know your model. Resellers buying existing products need fees, sales and seller data. Private label brands need keyword, listing and ad tools.
  2. Match how you source. In stores you want a phone barcode scanner; online, a browser extension.
  3. Check you can use it today. Some tools need a Walmart seller account first. Margenos doesn't.
  4. Make sure it really covers Walmart. Amazon tools use Amazon fees and sales rank. Walmart has its own referral fees and WFS fees.
  5. Test with free trials. Look up products you already know and see if the numbers match.

Questions

What is the best tool for Walmart resellers?

For resellers deciding what to buy, Margenos is built only for Walmart Marketplace and shows fees, profit, ROI, a sales estimate, every competing seller with stock and the Buy Box winner on any Walmart.com product, in Chrome or with the Android barcode scanner. WAMP is a free alternative for online research if you already sell on Walmart.

Does Helium 10 work for Walmart?

Yes, partly. Helium 10's Chrome extension runs Xray on Walmart search results and shows a Listing Quality Score on product pages, its Profits tool connects to a Walmart seller account, and Helium 10 Ads supports Walmart Connect. It's built first for Amazon and suits brands more than resellers.

Does Jungle Scout work for Walmart?

No. Jungle Scout's help center says its system only supports Amazon marketplaces and does not support Walmart. Use a Walmart-specific tool such as Margenos or WAMP for Walmart research.

Is there free Walmart seller software?

Yes. Walmart's Repricer and Seller Center reports are free for sellers, and WAMP lists a $0 beta plan. Most other tools are paid with a free trial; Margenos has a 14-day free trial.

How do I know if a product will sell on Walmart?

Walmart doesn't publish sales rank or sales numbers, so look at a sales estimate and where it comes from, how many sellers compete and how much stock they hold, who wins the Buy Box, and how price has moved. Margenos shows all of these on the product page.

Do I need a Walmart seller account to use Walmart seller tools?

It depends. Seller Center tools, repricers and accounting tools need one because they work on your own listings. Margenos works without a seller account, so you can research products while your application is reviewed.

What Walmart marketplace tools do private label sellers use?

Usually keyword, listing and ad tools. Helium 10 covers Walmart search research, listing quality and Walmart Connect ads, and Walmart's Listing Quality dashboard scores your listings.
