Does Jungle Scout work for Walmart?

Many sellers assume the big Amazon tools cover Walmart too. For Jungle Scout, they don't. Its help center article on other marketplaces says it does not support Walmart, eBay or Shopify, and explains that each marketplace works differently and would need its own data and algorithms. Its Chrome Web Store listing describes Amazon product research only, and its pricing page talks about Amazon revenue bands. If you see a "Jungle Scout for Walmart" tutorial, check the date and test it yourself before paying.

What Jungle Scout is great at

For Amazon, Jungle Scout is a strong, well-known choice. Its Chrome extension puts Best Seller Rank, sales and revenue estimates, price changes and an Opportunity Score into Amazon search results. It adds a keyword cloud, a Product Tracker, CSV export and an FBA Profit Calculator, and its web app covers product and keyword research for sellers building Amazon brands. If Amazon is your main channel, it's worth testing during its 7-day money-back window.

What Margenos does on Walmart

Margenos covers the Walmart side in reseller detail. On any Walmart.com product, the Chrome extension shows referral and WFS fees, profit, ROI, the most you can pay and your breakeven (with quantity, prep cost and WFS storage months). It adds a sales estimate with its source, every competing seller with stock counts, WFS vs seller-fulfilled per offer, who holds the Buy Box, and price and Buy Box history. The Android app scans barcodes in stores, and tracked products send push alerts when prices, stock or sellers change. No Walmart seller account needed.

Why Amazon tools don't carry over to Walmart

An Amazon tool can't simply be pointed at Walmart, because the numbers are built differently:

That's also why an Amazon sales estimate tells you little about the same item on Walmart: different shoppers, different competition and a different fulfillment network. Our Walmart vs Amazon guide covers the wider differences.

If you sell on both Amazon and Walmart

Plenty of sellers do, and using two tools is normal: Jungle Scout (or another Amazon tool) for Amazon, Margenos for Walmart. Check the same product on both marketplaces and list it where the fees, competition and sales speed look better. Look the item up in each tool before you buy; if it only works on one marketplace, you'll know before it's in your cart, not after it's in your garage. New to the Walmart side? Questions

Does Jungle Scout work for Walmart?

No. Jungle Scout's help center says its system only supports Amazon marketplaces and does not support Walmart, eBay or Shopify.

What is the Jungle Scout equivalent for Walmart?

For reselling on Walmart, Margenos shows fees, profit, ROI, sales estimates, every competing seller with stock and Buy Box history on any Walmart.com product, with an Android barcode scanner. WAMP and Helium 10's Walmart extension features are other options.

Can I use Jungle Scout's profit calculator for Walmart products?

It's built for Amazon FBA fees, so the numbers won't match Walmart. Walmart has its own referral and WFS fees; use a Walmart-specific calculator.

How much does Jungle Scout cost?

Jungle Scout's Catalyst plans list Starter at $49/month ($29/month billed yearly), Growth Accelerator at $79/month ($49 yearly) and Brand Owner + CI at $149/month ($129 yearly). There's no free trial, but there is a 7-day money-back guarantee. Check their site for current prices.

Should I use Margenos and Jungle Scout together?

If you sell on both Amazon and Walmart, yes. Use Jungle Scout for Amazon research and Margenos for Walmart, then list each product where the numbers look better. Many items that are crowded on Amazon have fewer sellers on Walmart, and the reverse happens too.

How do I know if a product will sell on Walmart?

Walmart doesn't show sales rank, so check a sales estimate and its source, the number of sellers and their stock, who wins the Buy Box and the price history. Margenos shows these on the product page.
