Margenos is a product research tool for Walmart Marketplace sellers, operated by Lemont Holdings LLC ("we", "us"). This policy describes what the app collects, why, and who it is shared with. It is written to match what the software actually does.

Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth. We never see or store your password.

If you install the Margenos Chrome extension, it reads product data from Walmart pages you open yourself and sends it to us. Specifically:
What the extension does not do. It runs only on walmart.com pages you have opened. It does not follow you to other websites, does not browse or click on its own, does not run in the background, and does not read your Walmart account details, addresses, payment methods or order history. It reads the product data already embedded in the page you are looking at.
If you use photo search, the image you take or choose is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to identify the product, then discarded. We do not keep your photos.
If you connect a Google account for spreadsheet export, we store an access token
for it. The permission requested is drive.file, which grants access
only to files this app itself creates. Margenos cannot see, open or
modify anything else in your Google Drive. You can disconnect at any time in
Settings, which deletes the token and revokes our access with Google.
Product observations — prices, sales badges, review counts, search rankings and search terms — go into a shared dataset used to estimate sales figures for every Margenos user, not just you. Your Walmart browsing makes the product better for other subscribers, and theirs makes it better for you. This is how the app produces sales estimates without charging for data feeds.
That pool records products, not people. It is not linked to your account, your name or your email, and nobody using Margenos can see that you were the person who viewed a given product. What it stores is "this item showed this badge at this price on this date", plus the search term that surfaced it.
If you do not want your browsing to contribute, do not install the extension. The app works without it.
Margenos Help, the support chat on our website, in the extension and in the app, is an AI assistant. What you type is sent to our server and to Anthropic to write the answer. If you are signed in, the assistant can read your own plan, scan count and billing status to help you, and nothing about any other account. When it opens a ticket for a person, the conversation and the email you give are saved so we can reply. Replies to emails sent to support@margenos.com may be drafted by the same assistant; a person reviews each one before it is sent.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your scan history, saved products and account details are kept while your account is open. Email support@margenos.com to delete your account and we will remove them.
Anonymous product observations stay in the shared pool after an account closes, because they are records about Walmart listings rather than about you, and removing them would degrade the estimates other users depend on.
Margenos is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who we share it with, we will say so in the app rather than only updating this page quietly.
